REshaping Central Europe IndUstry Sustainability through circular Economy models by 2030
Manufacturing industry in Central Europe consumes a lot of resources but only 12% is recycled. To improve circularity, waste streams need to be better understood and new solutions developed. The REUSE2030 project will analyse current waste streams and circular practices in the mechanical sector. This will form the basis for the development of a digital circular inventory that allows machinery companies to self-select sustainable practices. The inventory complements the newly developed Zero Carbon Toolkit. Both tools will be tested in companies and will form the basis for a new circular solutions strategy to reduce waste streams in the machinery sector.
