WholEUGrain Final Conference (Ljubljana, Slovenia 25 October 2022)
At the event, the most important tools for transferring the Danish best practice model to other countries will be presented, as well as the key achievements of the countries in the field of establishing whole grain partnership.
ACTIVITES CAMPAIGN ACTIVITES IN FEDRATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
On the occasion of World Food Day, different activities were implemented by the Institute of Public Health of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Healthy sandwich day and intersectoral round table were implemented with purpose to promote the whole grains among consumers.
ACTIVITES ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD FOOD DAY IN REPUBLIC OF SRPSKA 16-17 October 2022
On the occasion of World Food Day, different activities were implemented by the Institute of Public Health of Republic of Srpska. In this framework, the panel-conference, healthy-sandwich initiative and workshop were implemented with purpose to promote the whole grains among consumers.
Promotion of WholEUGrain project on CeFood 2022 Congress (27-30 September 2022)
The WholEUGrain project and its activities were promoted on 11th Central European Congress on Food and Nutrition which was held in Slovenia.
Establishment of the Slovenian whole grain partnership (Gornja Radgona, 24 August 2022)
On the initiative of CCIS - Chamber of Agricultural and Food Enterprises a memorandum on cooperation in the field of whole grain products was signed by 16 signatories.
Report “Healthy eating and Active lifestyles”
The Danish Whole Grain Partnership and WholEUGrain project were also included in the report titled »Healthy eating and Active lifestyles”. This report outlines policy recommendations on how to address two leading overweight risk factors: poor diet and lack of physical activity. Policy recommendations are drawn from a review of high-priority interventions implemented in OECD and EU27 countries.
Study visit to Denmark (8-10 June 2022)
The WholEUGrain project partners from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Slovenia attended the study visit to Denmark organized by DVFA and DCS with purpose to explore the product development and business opportunities of working in a public-private whole grain partnership.
