7th Whole Grain Summit

(25-27th October 2021)

International Association for Cereal Science and Technology (ICC) together with the Whole Grain Initiative and the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA) - Research Centre for Food and Nutrition organized 7th Whole Grain Summit with a title “From Science to Global Application” which will took place as an online event on October 25-27. The main aim of the event was to update the current knowledge worldwide on whole grains and to prioritise interests, focus and leverage people, resources and funding around new models, approaches and initiatives within the food system that help increasing whole grain intake in all sectors of the population. The event was attended by internationally renowned scientists as well as experts who shape the whole grain food system. The 7th Whole Grain Summit was also attended by WholEUGrain project partner, Gitte Laub Hansen from the Danish Cancer Society (DCS) who presented the WholEUGrain project and the health benefits of whole grain.
