Since October 2017 we carried out several training actions in Design Thinking (DT). Starting with a 2-days DT Train the Trainer joint session in Germany, followed by three more DT training actions through cooperation among project partners in Slovenia, France and Austria.

After finishing this big milestone in our DesAlps project we paused to look back on capturing lessons learnt from our DT training sessions. We did this in order to:

• Collect failures to learn from them and guide DT facilitators in the future to avoid such cases.
• Improve the performance of DT workshops.
• Decrease the preparation time of a DT workshop by not reinventing the wheel every time for a new workshop.
• Create a learning environment.
